Die US-Regierung, aber auch Senat und Repräsentatenhaus, sind in diesem Jahr mit Rekordbeteiligung am Jahrestreffen des Weltwirtschaftsforums in Davos vertreten. Angeführt wird die Delegation von Vize-Präsident Joe Biden und dem langjährigen Davos-Teilnehmer John Kerry.
Bei den Vertretern aus dem Repräsentantenhaus hat die GOP leicht die Oberhand: zwei demokratischen Senatoren und zwei Abgeordneten stehen drei republikanische Senatoren und sechs Abgeordneten gegenüber.
